Wen joined our group in June 2019 to work on silicon photonic devices and systems based on the Phase Change Materials for photonic computing. He received his PhD degree in Electronic Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with research on the integrated photonics, mid-infrared silicon photonics, and hyperunifrom disordered photonics (08/2014 – 08/2018). He was a postdoctoral fellow supported by the Postdoctoral Hub–Innovation and Technology Fund (09/2018 – 06/2019). In his spare time, Wen enjoys hiking, cycling, and reading.
