Angel joined the group in Jan 2024. He received his PhD from the University of the Basque Country with research on biochemical sensors by combining optical fibers and plasmonic effects (04/2017-04/2021). Then, he joined the quantum optics group of the Public University of Navarra as a postdoctoral researcher (07/2021-12/2023). Throughout his research career, he has worked in different fields within photonics, such as plasmonic sensors, integrated optics, metasurfaces, etc.
