Utku joined our research group in October 2018 as a DPhil student in order to work on tuneable opto-NEMS resonators. As a valedictorian, he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. Before joining the lab, he has mostly worked on analog & mixed-signal front-end IC design for ultrasound sensors, under the supervision of the late Professor Mustafa Karaman, with his research mainly focusing on solid-state physics and image processing. In his leisure time, Utku enjoys swimming, playing flute and piano.
